On this page are the highlights of the scholarships that are available to SC students who attend SC colleges approved by the Commission on Higher Education (CHE).
*COST: The PSAT/NMSQT cost is estimated to be $15.00
There is no funding for the PSAT test, so you will need to pay for the PSAT testing yourself. The state will provide a bumper sticker and will send to the colleges the names of students who get parent permission that qualify this year.
Contact the principal or counselor at a local public or independent high school to make arrangements to take the PSAT/NMSQT at their school. Be sure to do so well in advance of the mid-October test dates.
This code will identify you as a homeschooled student which will ensure your scores are properly recorded and credited to the homeschool community.
Insert on your answer sheet under “school code”.
As a homeschooler, your PSAT/NMSQT score report can be accessed online.

Scholarships: Used by scholarship programs, including the National Merit Scholarship Program, to look for eligible students.
